I got a chance to play with the new Universal laser printers at TechShop. My next Cosplay is going to be Xiaolang Li from Cardcaptor Sakura, so I wanted to make his Rashinban board.
So Bandai released the official version of Taichi's Googles from Digimon Adventure 01 and I had to have them. I've done Tai's outfit from 01 as well as the school jacket and orange shirt from Tri. Of course, at the start of Adventure 02, Tai gives his googles to Daisuke after his are broken. Since I already had the googles, that means my next outfit needed to be Daisuke/Davis from Adventure 02!
I made Taichi's Jacket based on the promotional images before the first episodes were released. Once the first episodes came out, I knew my next cosplay would be Tai's casual outfit from episodes 3 & 4.
I've been so exicted for the 15th Anniversary of Digimon Adventure and to see the original digi-destined team in HD.
I had recently finished my cosplay of Taichi from season 1. Once promotional images started to be released I knew wanted to make a go at the older version of Taichi as well. I had never made a jacket before, so this would be a new challenge.

This has been one of my favorite projects as it mixes cosplay and street fashion into something that's wearable everyday.
Over the last year I’ve been teaching programming. The language of choice where i’ve been working is Python (which I had not used very much before going in). Because of that, I’ve been making it a point to code as many of my personal projects as I can in the language. Despite a long “love/hate” relationship over the first few months (python was my first language that uses syntactical whitespace), I’ve really grown to love it.
I’ve also become quite fond of the Flask framework for developing web applications. I love its minimal approach to things, really getting out of …
I've recently been doing some teaching on the side at Hackbright Academy and today was all about Markov Chains.
I recently purchased Super Dungeon Explore and there are lots of minis to paint. We started with the bad guys...
The US Navy invaded Ocean Beach on Wednesday and I actually took some time away from work long enough to go check it out. It really was an impressive site to watch. If you ever have a Hovercraft landing in your front yard, I recommend you go check it out!
